Sound Reduction
The specification of the particular requirements to acoustically relevant equipment follows as a result of the acoustical design of a power plant.
The reduction of the sound emissions is achieved by means of appropriate sound attenuation (silencers) and damping (of buildings, equipment and material) as well as by use of low-emission equipment (radiator coolers, transformers, compressors and pumps).
