Industrial Tail Gas Generator Sets
Industrial tail gas generator sets refer to the power generation device that uses industrial exhaust gas to drive alternator with the gas internal combustion engine as prime mover to convert mechanical energy into electric energy and thermal energy. They mainly consists of a gas engine, alternator and control system. It is efficient, economical, clean and environment-friendly.
In the production process of coke, semi-coke, shale oil, calcium carbide and ferroalloy refining enteprises, a large number of low-calorific value industrial exhaust will be produced. Most of them are dry distillation gas. The components of these combustible gases are mainly hydrogen and carbon monoxide, featured by complicated components, contain impurities, unstable components, large toxicity, inflammable and explosive, and most of the exhaust are burned and discharged except for a few for refinery's own use.

Classification of Industrial tail gas generator sets: 1. According to different industrial exhaust gas fuels, the Industrial tail gas generator sets can be classified into coke oven gas gensets, semi-coke gas gensets, converter gas gensets, blast furnace gas gensets and calcium carbide tail gas generator sets. 2. According to the engine speed, the gas generator set can be classified into High-speed generator sets (engine speed more than 1000 rpm), Medium-speed generator sets (engine speed at 500 to 1000 rpm).
