Enclosed Generator Sets
Enclosed Generator Sets refer to the power generation system with the addition of a special weatherproof and sound attenuated enclosures to the open generator set to make it have the function of rain-proof or sound reduction.
The open generator set is enclosed for weatherproof by a special enclosure, and the sound insulation material can be adhered to the inner wall of the outer casing according to the user's requirements to have the function of noise reduction. However, there must be an air inlet and outlet to facilitate the intake and cooling of the generator set.
Classification of Enclosed Generator Sets: 1 According to driving power form, gensets can be classified into Enclosed engine generator sets and Enclosed gas turbine generator sets. In addition, according to their usage, the enclosed engine generator set can be classified into Containerized generator sets, Soundproof generator sets and Rainproof generator sets, etc. 2 According to engine speed, gensets can be classified into High-speed generator sets (speed ≥1200 r/min), medium-speed generator sets (speed from 720 to 1200 r/min).

Containerized generator set power output is less than 3 MW/ Units, and can run a variety of fuel oil or gaseous fuels.
