Coal Mine Gas generator sets (CMG generator sets), refer to the power generation device that uses colliery gas to drive alternator with the gas internal combustion engine as prime mover to convert mechanical energy into electric energy and thermal energy. They mainly consists of a gas engine, alternator and control system. It is efficient, economical, clean and environment-friendly.

Classification of CMG generator sets: 1. According to the gas concentration, the generator set can be classified into high concentration CMG generator set and low concentration CMG generator set. 2. According to the engine speed, the CMG generator set can be classified into High-speed generator set (engine speed more than 1000 rpm), and Medium-speed generator set (engine speed at 500 to 1000 rpm).
